Quince Marmalade - 7.5 oz
DISCONTINUED
Quince is an ancient fruit. Quince originated in Asian and Middle Eastern countries several thousand years ago and Quinces in England are first recorded in about 1275. Fast forward to ‘now’! On Guemes, a small island in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, organic quince ripens in the summer salt air. It is then hand picked and hand preserved in small batches. Food critic Patricia Eddy writes of a wonderful experience she and her guests had with Quince Marmalade: “One night, after dinner at our favorite restaurant, they brought out this jar of quince marmalade and a pot of hot water. The idea was to take 1-2 spoonfuls of the marmalade and drop it in the bottom of your mug. Then pour hot water over the mix and drink it like a tea. The flavor was amazing. The four of us polished off almost an entire jar of the delicious marmalade 'tea'." INGREDIENTS: organic quince, organic oranges and sugar. Enjoy!
